Patricia Rush

I first started judging Brittanys at Coventry Gundog Society in 1992. I have been passionately involved in the breed since I was a teenager.

I am a Championship Show Judge and Breed Specialist, having also had the honour of the Brittany Club Championship Show, the prestigious CRUFTS Dog Show, National Gundog and a number of other championship shows.

Most recently had the honour to be invited to judge at the National d’Elevage in 2024 in France – which will be no doubt the pinnacle of my judging career. The most important show in France with some of the best Brittanys in the world.

I am also very involved with organising Brittany Breed Seminars with a strong belief in following the Standard of the country of Origin, and using French Breed Specialists as Speakers.

Jessica Frost (née Rush)

My daughter Jessica has been taken to dog shows since she was in a push chair! She first started with Junior Handling with my early bitch Joymonds Diamant, and has loved the breed since she was a little girl, with her own first dog Dorvalstan Justine. Since those days, she has been heavily involved in the breed both showing and more recently working her Brittanys. She also qualified as a Championship Show Judge and was honoured to award her first set of CCs at Three Counties Championship Show in 2019. Since having judged at National Gundog in 2021, and has her next appointment at Darlington Champ Show in 2024.
