Sadly Missed

Gallo

Gallo”, (above) one of our earliest imports from the St Thurial kennel, who during his time was incredibly successful in the show ring, a dream to live with and a great rough shooting dog. His bloodlines are still in today’s UK pedigrees.

Gallo
Neska”, one of our most recent imports bred by Michel Corre, de Skol Louarn kennel in Brittany, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the tender age of 2 years old, a very fast and birdy dog. Neska was  beautiful and showing so much natural ability and promise. Such a shock, and is very sadly missed.

“Baileys”, Sh Ch Patouche Baileys was born in 2006, (above and right) she was my husband Alan’s favourite working bitch and very much a Daddy’s girl! She won several CACs in France with Best of Breed. She was also graded 2nd and 3rd Excellent in the Nationales D’Elevage, as well as a Show Champion under Breed Specialists in the UK. Even at 11 years old, she won Best of Breed at LKA in 2016.

“Tia” This young bitch truly ticked all my boxes! Taken far too young. Not only was she beautiful and cheeky, but she had her mother’s (Pistache) drive for game and passion for hunting, but she was biddable. Tia had strong pointing instincts and swam like a fish, my 8th generation of Patouche… below:

Lorca
Ivry

“Ivry”, (above) imported from the famous Keranlouan kennel. Ivry became my foundation bitch whose lines descend into almost all my current dogs.

Lorca

“Lorca”, (above) imported alongside his mother. Lorca has given me everything in the ring and in the field; he taught us everything and was a dog in a million!

Lorca

“Djinnie”, born in 2008; (above) a complete water baby, natural pointer and retriever, was also my daughter’s dog and sadly passed away in spring 2023 at 14 years old.

Ch. Patouche Toscane

Ch. Ozo du Vallon de l’Isac x Patouche NouNours

“Toscane”, born in 2002, a full champion and was hugely successful in the show ring, winning the greatest honour of the Nationale D’Elevage in France 2005, out of 255 dogs from 10 different countries. This has never been achieved by a foreign dog.

Jan and Jessie
“Jan”, otherwise known as “Baby Jan” by my daughter! A complete character…who won the Obedience competition at the Brittany Club Show. She was Toscane’s grandmother and produced several winning children.

“Nouchka”, Jan and Lorca’s daughter; excellent bird finder and pointer. She produced a number of offspring now in the stud book, and our first full champion bitch – Toscane.
